Happiness is the first day of snow!

A rare occurrence has happened, last week, in the seaside town of Broadstairs, Kent, where I live..... IT HAD SNOWED!!

Snow day officially arrived and settled on 28th February. A very rare site, here in the Isle of Thanet and even in Kent. (When was the last time it snowed in Thanet?)

Waking up on Tuesday morning, I was very excited to see a blanket of white outside. Having my sister's dog Otis, to look after too, it was even more special.

So after my morning cup of tea, I wrapped myself up warm and took Otis out for his morning walk. I had a moment of enjoyment walking across the freshly laid snow, that wonderful crunch sound with each step was a delight.

Otis the dog, saw snow for the first time and even step out into it. Understandably he was not too sure about it at first, but when we were out he soon started running around like a child in the snow. Snow does have that effect of enjoyment on us all.
