What are the best pens for dot drawing?

What are the best pens for dot drawing, better known as pointillism?

Any pen will work, to be honest, but the best are fine tip pens with free-flowing ink. Consistent ink flow is important to create the dots when you put pen to paper. Along with different size pen nibs that will give different effects in dot drawing.

As you can see the higher the number for the nib size, the bigger and darker the dots get.

Tips on dot drawing: ensure that you hold the pen firmly and is at a slight angle, so when the nib hits the paper your wrist is flat to the paper.
