Four Kent Artisans collaborate together to create Creative Square
Creative Square is a collaboration of four Kent based Artisans, Ami Blastock, Lois Gunn, Francesa Kemp and myself, Gem Blastock. We have come together over the Christmas period and beyond to create an eclectic collection of handmade jewellery, pottery, home and giftware to help you find that perfect gift that's made with love but also has a story to tell.

Gem Blastock of Turquoise Gem Textiles
I am a pointillist illustrator and printer. I create wonderful illustrations inspired by my love of the sea and animals native to the UK. Through the technique of pointillism, I create screen printed products of wall decor, home and giftware, including my latest collection of colour block prints in my studio in Broadstairs. Next year will be the year of colour for Turquoise Gem.
Ami Blastock of AB Jewellery
A Goldsmith specialising in upcycling old and broken treasures into stunning bespoke pieces that you or a loved one will love and cherish. She also has her own beautiful range of gold and silver jewellery designed and handmade from fair-trade or recycled precious metals. All products are made by Ami in her studio based in Broadstairs.
Lois Gunn of Loïs Gunn Designs
An artisan of many talents, from stunning pottery to printing, unusual jewellery to pin badges. Lois makes beautiful wonders to have around your home or for yourself, in her little studio in Margate. All of these wonderful quirky products are inspired by her love and life by the sea.
Fran Kemp of Francesca Kemp
A free-motion embroiderer, creating the most amazing illustrations by drawing with a thread. Her work is inspired by her surroundings in the beautiful Kent countryside. Fall in love with her embroidered pieces of art, made with recycled fabric and freehand machine embroidery created with two much loved sewing machines.
